RIO+20: FROM OUTCOME TO IMPLEMENTATION

"The Future We Want" must be considered as a starting point, establishing guidelines and launching global processes to integrate sustainability into decision making. Thus "Rio+20" should be seen as the beginning of a process and not an end. Turning it into a success, or failure, is therefore up to us and will depend on what we are able to achieve from now. The next few years will be decisive. This issue showcases current thought on exactly what that future will be, and how best to achieve it.
