| First prize a seven-night holiday, second prize a four-night holiday, each for two people in Seychelles, was donated by Air Seychelles and

| The winner and runners up were chosen by a panel consisting
of UNEPs Executive Director, its Director of Information, and
the Editor of Our Planet from the entries received. The decision
of the judges is final. This competition was closed to all those working for UNEP, GEF, Banson, Words and Publications, SMI, Air Seychelles, Premier Holidays and all other companies associated with the production of Our Planet magazine and their families.
